Valeriy Osmakov
Valeriy is an industrial designer whose practice evolved from landscape architecture into collectible design. He is now establishing a collectible design atelier in Abruzzo, Italy—a laboratory where he explores the boundary between art and function.

Originally developed in Russia, his practice has entered a new phase with the creation of his studio in Italy. His work focuses on the relationship between natural elements and constructed form, a central theme that runs through his ongoing explorations.

His objects emerge as precise compositions of material and light. Positioned between the organic and the constructed, they explore a quiet tension—where function becomes form, and objects approach a sculptural presence.
Artistic Approach
The artist’s practice revolves around crafting sensorial and intricately geometric forms inspired by the interplay between natural and man-made matter. Their approach embodies unpredictability and experimentation, reflecting a deep engagement with conceptual and minimalist sculptural aesthetics.

By blending the organic curves of nature with the structured lines of architecture they create works that resonate with a sense of tension and harmony. The objects function as architectural constructions, serving as form-bearing membranes that mediate the dialogue between external environments and internal spaces. These sculptures transcend mere ornamentation, instead becoming thoughtful explorations of spatial dynamics and sensory experience. Through their conceptual rigor and dedication to unadorned forms, the artist invites viewers to contemplate the nuanced relationships between physical structures, the natural world, and the human psyche.
